The Charles Hamilton Houston Institute for Race and Justice has facilitated a unique three-way collaboration with the Boston law firm, Choate, Hall and Stewart and with the Center for Law and Education, a national organization, based in Boston and Washington D.C. that is committed to making the right of every student to a quality education a reality. Under this partnership, Choate lawyers have been trained by CLE attorneys to represent low-income students facing suspension, expulsion and special education hearings in public schools across Massachusetts.
